At times, we are afforded the unique opportunity to provide clinical trials to the right candidates.
If we are involved in a study that might be right for your pet and his/her diagnosis, this will be discussed as a possible option for treatment.

Feline squamous cell carcinoma study
Veterinary Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (VRTOG) Clinical Trial Examining the Efficacy of Toceranib Phosphate (Palladia®) in the Treatment of Feline Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma

We are pleased to join VRTOG in answering an important question regarding the role of Palladia in the management of oral squamous cell carcinoma in cats. If your cat has been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, please call for an initial consultation to discuss if your pet may be a candidate for this study.

We are also currently taking blood samples from pure bred dogs to support research being conducted at the Canine Hereditary Cancer Consortium. These samples will allow researchers to identify genes responsible for breed-specific susceptibilities. This information can be utilized to establish more precise diagnostics and therapeutics for both canine and human cancer patients.  Please let us know if you are interested in submitting a blood sample from your dog; the sample needed is no larger an amount than a normal blood sample taken for routine analysis.
